First of all, I want to make it clear that this is not motivational content. It is practical content to help you get your project up and running.
I believe that if you are planning to start selling a product or setting up a company, it is because you already have enough motivation.
What may be missing is taking the first step to get started.
Most of the time we want to have everything planned, we want to foresee each situation so that the objection or problem hurts less.
This is a big problem. The longer you plan and leave your idea on paper, the longer it will take for the market to know what you have to offer.
The longer you wait, the longer it will take for you to get feedback from people.
Don’t be fooled if you think this is something that only happens to people who are starting out in a new field or launching a new product.
I have seen established companies with over 20 years in the market take 1 year to launch a product because they wanted everything to be perfect.
When they finally launched, dozens of situations arose that they were not prepared for. Many of the actions they spent time preparing for to this day were for nothing. They only served to delay the launch of the product by months.
The time and money invested in “predicting” what the market would think cost the company dearly.
So what to do?
Stop planning and start selling.
Entrepreneurship is the same as selling.
There is no track your email performance with without sales. As a sales professional, you will not survive in your new job if you do not start selling.
The same happens in a new company. A company cannot exist if there are no customers buying or consuming services/products.
So, even if you think you still need to fix something in your product or script, start selling. Adjust according to the market response.
Have an MVP
A term that has been give them the opportunity to re-register more and more popularity, especially among startups, is MVP. An acronym that translates to Minimum Viable Product.
It is a product or concept that will serve to validate your idea. The sooner you put your MVP on the market, the faster your growth will be.
This applies to everything, including testing a sales script.
If you are in sales and are just starting out at a new company, don’t expect to know all the details of the market. Don’t just research how the product works.
The best way to validate your knowledge is by talking to customers.
So I ask you, what do you need to start selling?
One last recommendation
Start small. Reach out to a few beb directory clients and see how they work.
What were the doubts, what were the questions, etc.
There is no perfect plan, there is no perfect approach. Just going to market all at once will make you grow.
